How the fuck old is Chiyoh supposed to be? I mean, the actress is younger than me, but book canon-wise is the same age as Hannibal, so *throws hands in the air* who fucking knows. Like, if he left her there when he went off to school, she’d have been, like 2.
I know this is probably a serious question but all I can picture now is two year old chiyoh running around with a shotgun to get dinner
My theory (and headcanon) is that Hanni’s home in Lithuania is some kind of memory pocket where time stands still, or at least moves slower. Not a real place. That would explain why it still exists and hasn’t been torn down and changed into a hipermarket. Chiyoh is basically a ghost from the past.
Only Will has an access to that place, because his own memory palace has started to melt into Hanni’s.
