I asked for accommodations at my summer job last month and they sent me a form to bring to my doctor.
That’s fine, but they said if I don’t get it in by May 1, they’ll assume that I don’t want the job anymore and treat it like I quit.
My job doesn’t even start till late July, I only asked for accommodations so early out of courtesy and now I might lose my job.
Of course it takes forever to get an appointment, my PCP cancelled an appointment with me last week, I have a specialist appointment on May 1 but that’s the day it’s due and I shouldn’t be at risk of losing my job from asking for accommodations anyway.
